LUST
Rabbai! Teacher!
Please lend me your ear.
Let me tell you of my sin;
My carnal desire.
Breaking commandment after commandment
As lust blinds my eyes.
I’m hungry for flesh,
Warm-skinned with desire.
Not before marriage
Oh Daughter of God.
Not before Marriage
Thou shalt not.
Rabbai! Teacher!
Please lend me your ear.
Teach me about sin;
This carnal desire.
My body beats to a delicious pulse
As my heart drowns in lust.
I long for another…
To see our flesh become one.
Not before marriage
Oh Daughter of God.
See it is written
Thou shalt not!
But oh how I long…
Naked flesh on naked flesh
How can this be wrong?
What is sin anyway?
I’m burning with need
Fiery carnality.
Human desire.
Driven mad by flaming passion.
I crave release
One way or another.
My lascivious nature
Craving another.
Rabbai! Teacher!
Please lend me your ear
I need some advice
On this lustful need.
Not before marriage
Blessed Child of God
See it is written
Thou shalt not!
My dear Lord give me strength
I fear I cannot stand it;
My lust-stained innocence
So clearly on show.
Father forgive me
Your child has sinned.
I feel so lost!
Why do you mock me by holding your silence?
Rabbai! Teacher!
Please lend me your ear,
Whilst me cheeks blush with shame
For my lascivious nature.
Always the same answer
Not before marriage
For my child it says in this book
Thou shalt not!
I’m sick of these rules.
Why! God. Why!
Father in Heaven
You created me!
Surely you know the answer.
Please Lord, Don’t echo the rabbai.
I’ve heard it before.
Child of God, not before marriage.
I’m sick of religion
With its stuffy old rules.
With its ‘bless you dear child’s
And ‘Thou shalt not’s.
Call me a heretic
I’m beyond caring.
But Jesus wasn't one
To play by the rules.
Don’t get me wrong!
I love you dear Lord.
I gave you my life
At the start of 04.
I meant every word.
I’m washed by the blood.
A child of God.
My name is written in the lambs book of life.
I’ve gone too far.
Heretic, Heathen, Unbeliever.
I’ve heard it all before.
I’m sick of religion,
But I still love God.
Father forgive me for I have sinned.
